NICK & MILLY London & THE NICK & MILLY FOUNDATION are social enterprises with 100% of the profits invested back into saving the planet, animal and human rights.

NICK & MILLY was designed to inspire, help and educate people to find a
healthy balance between Mind, Body and Soul and to recognise the importance
of “one” being. We believe strongly that all our actions have direct and
indirect consequences, the earth and all its inhabitants are connected.
We encourage everyone to stop and think about the impact their decisions have.

One main area where we believe one person can make an impact is on what
they purchase. This is where one person can truly make a difference, if you are
against animal cruelty don’t buy products which are tested on animals, make
a stand, if enough people stop buying that product the company behind it
will notice. Likewise buying only fair trade and eco friendly products will
encourage all companies who don’t already operate with an ethical policy to
rethink their position especially when their sales start diminishing.

CRUELTY FREE & AGAINST ANIMAL TESTING ACCREDITATION
Launch of NICK & MILLY: BUAV statement
August 2007

Commenting on the launch of the BUAV-approved cruelty-free NICK & MILLY
luxury Bath and Body range, BUAV chief executive Michelle Thew said:

‘We are delighted that NICK AND MILLY have made sure their new luxury range
doesn’t compromise on cruelty. Sadly, there are still many brands on UK shelves that have animal-tested ingredients. By getting approval under the BUAV’s internationally recognised Humane Cosmetics Standard (HCS), NICK & MILLY are offering a gold-standard guarantee to their customers that there is no hidden cruelty behind their new label.’

ANIMAL TESTING

We actively campaign against animal testing. The issue of animal testing is
complicated by the fact that virtually all substances have at some stage been tested.
NICK & MILLY London operates a Fixed Cut-Off date policy of 1976, i.e. we use no new
innovative ingredients developed after 1976. This was the beginning of the regulation of
cosmetics ingredients in the European Union, since when new innovative ingredients
have been required by law to be tested. By using ingredients pre -dating 1976,
we are being as cruelty free as possible.
